Remember Me

Tonight I watched one of Robert Pattison's latest movies. And no, it was not of the Twilight Saga. The end of the movie had a twist that I did not see coming by any means. It even made me feel slightly ill, despite that the event occurred nearly 9 years ago. This movie really advises me to not waste time. Life is too short & you just don't know what can potentially happen. Don't waste time! Don't go to bed angry! Tell the people you love most that you LOVE them. Often. That is all.
Goodnight xoxo

Hola, Bonjour, Ciao!

Today is the beginning of another brand new week. My monday has unfortunately started off fairly sluggish. I blame the dreary weather that is pondering outside. This past weekend was a good combination of work & play though. I am very happy to have two more full days off before I start my summer job.Besides taking it easy this morning I did sign up for my Fall classes. Finally! I unfortunately will be taking night classes, long, night classes. But I will just half to suck it up and make it work. And it is only 2 classes after all. Enough with school though!

Today I am going to an afternoon yoga class with my friend James. Later on I think I am going to hang out with Alicia. She has officially gotten possession of her new place, congratulations Leesh!
I am hoping to check out a few upcoming movies soon. A few are still in book form but being released soon! These are some of my must see's:

What movies are on your list?!

Blessed

I do weekly respite care with a delightful little girl named Abbey. Today her Mom gave me this Pandora charm as a "congratulations" for finishing my teaching assistant program. I am pretty excited for my new charm as I have wanted to collect more! And of course, it is pink to remind me of Abbey....that is her all time favorite color! It was so sweet though & really not anticipated. I hope everyone else is having as great of a Saturday as I am. xoxo

If we ever meet again

Despite my last post being about saving money, on tuesday I did indulge and go shopping downtown with the girls. Respectively though, I did stay within my means and only spent what I had. We had a pleasant time and found some great items. H & M served me very well, both fashion & cost wise. Later that evening my sisters and I went into Steveston and had dinner at Pajo's. Being off work the past 3 days has been lovely. Totally trying to make the most of it and hang with friends! Last night Dee, Emmy and I went to superstore and lived up Joe Fresh. Afterwards we met Lee & Alison and made fresh strawberry milkshakes. I love berry season & spending time with my friends. XOXO

"The Automatic Millionaire"

I recently bought & gave this book (The Automatic Millionaire) to a friend for his birthday. It is one of the only books I have read about money that has actually opened my eyes widely. It delivers that the key to getting rich is by "automating" the way to wealth by paying yourself first.

What makes this book interesting is this:
You don't need a budget
You don't need willpower
You don't need to make a lot of money
You don't need to be that interested in money
You can set up the "automatic" plan within an hour

If you have read it let me know your thoughts! I am a huge fan of David Bach and his money saving techniques.

I'm spent

Today Alicia asked me if I wanted to go to step class with her. It was a tough one! Kudos to anyone out there who does this class regularly. I am incredibly uncoordinated and spent a good portion of the class trying to keep up. I am keen to go again and try to learn some of the steps!! Happy Monday & best wishes for a wonderful week! xoxo

im so hollow

When I feel distressed I like to listen to sad songs.
Why?
I have no idea. It just seems to ease my mind & heart.
Here are a few of today's favorites:
"goodbye my lover" - james blunt
"broken arrow" - rod stewart
"the best i ever had" - gary allan
"long goodbye" - brooks & dunn

Keep smiling, xoxo

i could really use a wish right now

Unfortunately I am blogging right now because I am home sick from work. I was up half the night with a wicked sore throat. It sucked A LOT. After tons of tea though it is starting to feel better. Gotta keep those liquids coming! Today is my sister's 19th birthday! Also a bonus that I am feeling under the weather because now I can accompany her to her birthday lunch. Last week it was my grandmas 72nd birthday. We had a celebration at her house, it was really great. While we were there we bombarded her closet haha. Here are a few shots from the night.
Happy Hump Day! Stay healthy.
